Serves: 4

2 teaspoons coarsely ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
4 bone-in center cut pork chops (1 inch thick)
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
2 medium tart apples, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons black pepper bacon jam
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons brown sugar

4 g coarsely ground pepper
3 g salt
1 g garlic chopped
30 g of black pepper bacon jam
4 bone-in center cut pork chops (1 inch thick)
220 g onions, thinly sliced
2 medium tart apples, peeled and chopped
30 g butter or margarine
25 g brown sugar

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine the pepper, salt and garlic . Rub over pork chops and marinate overnight. take out and leave to room temperatture, brush off the garlic and Grill chops, covered, over medium heat for 7-9 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 145 degrees F
Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute onions and apples in butter until tender. Add the bacon jam and ; cook until warmed through. Serve with the pork chops.
